The Storm Lake Police Department reports they have apprehended a teen wanted out of Indiana for attempted murder. An arrest warrant was served in the 500 block of W. 8th Street in Storm Lake at approximately 1:20 p.m. Tuesday. A 16-year-old male was taken into custody at the residence and transported to the Buena Vista County jail, where he is being held pending extradition to Cass County, Ind. The teen is wanted on the felony attempted murder charge as well as one for aggravated battery.
