The Carroll Police Department has requested an arrest warrant on an Illinois man following an investigation into the report of a stolen vehicle. The department was notified at approximately 2:59 p.m. Wednesday that a vehicle had been stolen in the 500 block of E. 18th Street. The next day, it was recovered at approximately 1:15 a.m. in a Story County traffic stop. The warrant is being requested for 23-year-old Sterling Turner of Chicago Heights, Ill. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, an aggravated misdemeanor.
