Carroll County Conservation announced today (Friday) they are once again offering kayak and paddle boat rentals at Swan Lake State Park. Beginning June 19, rentals will be available from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday. Watercraft will only be available on weekends until further notice. Rates are $5 per hour or $20 per day for each boat. Conservation staff are sanitizing life jackets and paddles between rentals. Boats are available on a first-come, first-served basis and reservations will not be accepted. For more information, contact the Swan Lake Conservation Education Center at 712-792-4614.
