Although Carroll High School Graduation Is By Invite Only, It Will Be Available On Video Later That Day

Carroll Community School District will finally be able to celebrate their graduating senior class with a commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 27. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 restrictions, it will be closed to the general public and limited to just the graduate and four family members. However, the administration and the Tiger Vision team are pleased to announce video of the event will be made available on the Tiger Vision YouTube Channel. This will not be a live recording, but those watching will be seeing the exact same video the graduates will be watching on the video board at the Carroll Athletic Stadium location. This will include speaches by the four Valedictorians: Nicholas Haberl, Owen Perrin, Lauren Snyder and Luke Woosley as well as the 2020 Salutatorian, Makayla Bueltel. According to organizers, the video will premiere at 7 p.m. that night. The live presentation of diplomas will be recorded and shared on the same YouTube channel within 24 hours of the ceremony. A link to this has been included with this story on our website. Those who will be able to attend graduation in person are asked to adhere to the six-foot minimum recommended physical distancing per group and to please exit the stadium grounds immediately following the ceremony. The restrooms will remain closed. Principal, Tammi McKenzie, wants to thank everyone for their support and understanding with the changes that were necessary to be able to make a commencement ceremony possible for the class of 2020.
