Auburn Boil Advisory Lifted Friday

Officials from the City of Auburn announced today (Friday) the boil order issued for the community earlier this week has been lifted. On Tuesday, crews identified a water main break that resulted in a substantial drain in the town’s water tower. Now that service has been restored and lab results have returned negative for bacterial concentrations, it is no longer necessary for water to be boiled before consumption. The city apologizes for the inconvenience and thanks residents for their patience. Questions or comments about the issue can be directed to city hall at 712-688-2264.
