Carroll Chamber Of Commerce Reminds Local Businesses June 30 Is Last Day To Apply For PPP Loans

The Carroll Chamber of Commerce is reminding local businesses that tomorrow (Tuesday), June 30 is the final day to apply for a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan through the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). Any 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, sole proprietors, independent contractors, self-employed individuals or small businesses that meets SBA’s size standards can apply to help them through the COVID-19 crisis. Loans will be forgiven if all employees are kept on payroll for at least eight weeks and no more than 40 percent of the money is used for rent, mortgage interest or utilities. Applications can be submitted through an existing SBA lender or any federally insured depository, credit union or Farm Credit System that is participating. For more information about PPP, contact the Carroll Chamber at 792-4383 or follow the link included below.
