Stewart Memorial Community Hospital (SMCH) in Lake City is leading the industry in Iowa with the installation of a state-of-the-art 128-slice Hitachi CT Scanner. The SCENARIA View includes the latest technology in radiation dose reduction features with an accommodating design offering a more spacious, 80 centimeter opening that reassures patients and reduces anxiety. A lateral-shift table allows patients up to 550 pounds to remain centered and secure and it lowers to 20 inches off the floor for easy access. The scanner also boasts a broad range of clinical capabilities and features to meet the demands of today’s diagnostic imaging professionals.
