Nissen struck out 6, allowing just 5 hits in a complete game shutout. The Tiger defense didn’t make an error. Carroll broke through in the 3rd inning, Ty Nissen drove in a run with a sac fly while Slade Sibenaller and Colby Christensen both had RBI singles. Cade Schable scored the other run on a wild pitch. That would prove to be all the Tigers needed but they add more in the 4th and 5th. Tory Feldman was a part of the last two runs scoring on an error in the 4th and driving in a run with a sac fly in the 5th. The Tigers travel to Atlantic on Tuesday. The loss drops South Central Calhoun to 0-8. Chase Scheidegger pitched well in the loss. He allowed just 4 earned runs in 4 innings. The Raiders scored a run in the 1st and then added 3 unearned runs in the 3rd and 3 more runs in the 4th. The Titans got their lone run when Scheidegger doubled to lead off the inning and then scored on an error on a play at 3rd. Derek Aschinger went 4-4 with a double, 2 RBI and 4 runs scored for the Raiders. Quintin Ludwig had a pair of singles and scored twice, Griffin O’Neill doubled and drove in 3-runs. Caleb Villhauer had an RBI single and scored a run. Jessen pitched all 6 innings only allowing 4 hits and no earned runs. He struck out 2 and walked none. Scheidegger finished 2-3 with a double and a run scored. Bryce Smidt and Gavin Batta had the other Titan hits.
