The Breda Firefighter Association’s third annual golf outing is slated for this weekend and there is still room for a few more teams on Saturday’s roster. Firefighter and one of the event’s organizers, Matt Koster, says they have a fun afternoon in store for attendees on July 11.
The cost to register is $140 per team and includes 18 holes of golf and entry into the individual hole prizes and the hole-in-one challenge for a John Deere Gator. According to Koster, carts will be available upon request on a limited basis. While there may be fewer items on these year’s silent auction list, Koster says the ones they do have will definitely be popular with bidders.
All money raised from the annual golf outing goes to support the Breda Fire Department. Funds from last year’s event were used to purchase new personal protective equipment. Koster says that is what most of the money will be used for this year also.
He says they have room for about three or four more teams, but they do not plan to turn anybody away who wants to support the department. To register, contact Koster by phone at 712-830-5926.
