Physicians from McFarland Clinic in Carroll presented the United Way of Carroll a generous donation this (Wednesday) afternoon sourced by private contributions from the doctors. Each year, the physician-owned clinic raises money to benefit the local non-profit with this year’s donation totaling $4,550. When combined with additional donations from all staff, McFarland Clinic’s 2020 contribution surpassed $9,200. The United Way of Carroll uses these funds to sustain a variety of initiatives in the area. Last year, the organization distributed more than $21,000 to 15 agencies and programs to help hundreds of county residents with the three pillars of the United Way: education, health and financial stability.
