The Carroll American Legion, like so many organizations, has been financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Member, RT Schreck, says they lost all of their hall bookings, and this was a major source of income. They are hoping their annual ticket sales will be a larger-than-normal success this year to help cover some of that loss. The tickets are $10 each for the chance to win about $2,500 in eight different increments. The Legion members will be posted at Bomgaars, Fareway, Hy-Vee and Walmart, at one location each Saturday, starting Aug. 1.
