Here is the release from Kuemper Catholic on the hiring of a new AD.
“I’m happy to announce our new Activities Director at Kuemper. Mike Power, currently of Sioux City, has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Power has had a successful college coaching career spanning 32 years at the NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA levels. In addition to coaching, Power has worked as an athletic administrator at the college level.
He is the all-time winningest women’s basketball coach from Briar Cliff University in Sioux City and the seventh all-time winningest women’s basketball coach at the NAIA Division II level.
Power has spent his career educating and mentoring student-athletes. He states, “I am very excited about the opportunity to join the Kuemper family. It has a rich history of Catholic education and an excellent reputation for serving its community.”
Power and his wife, Anne, a Denison, IA native, have six children. Help me welcome Mike to the Kuemper Family.”
