A tough 1^st inning put the Wheelers in a hole they couldn’t dig out from as they fell in the Regional Semifinal. The Wheelers had a couple errors in the 1^st and Newell Fonda scored 4 times to grab the early lead. From there on the Wheelers played well and hung close the rest of the game.

The Wheelers finished with 5 hits and scored in the 5^th when Mattie Nielsen doubled, scoring Kylee Hartl. Leah Subbert had a team high 2 hits with Mallory Riebhoff and Kali Irlmeier picking up the other 2 hits. Hannah Thygesen walked for the Wheelers. Kali Irlmeier took the loss going 6 innings, giving up 8 hits and 8 runs with only 3 of those being earned. She struck out 4 and walked 1.

Audubon finished the season at 11-9.
