Gov. Kim Reynolds announced this (Friday) afternoon the Test Iowa site in Storm Lake will be moving to a new location within the community over the weekend. After testing concluded at 6 p.m. Friday, staff at the site in the Storm Lake High School Parking lot started packing up their equipment. They will spend Saturday and Sunday moving to the new site at 1528 East Lakeshore Drive at the Sunrise Pointe Golf Course. Testing is expected to resume on Monday, July 20 and will be available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily while the site is active. Reynolds also announced Friday the Marshalltown location would be moving from the Marshalltown Community College to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office over the weekend. The moves were ordered to accommodate preparations at the schools for the start of classes in August. COVID-19 testing is now available to all Iowans through Test Iowa.
