Last week, the Audubon County Fair Board and Audubon County Emergency Operation Center (EOC) held a meeting to discuss the immediate future of Figure 8 racing at the fairgrounds. They determined that the large crowd sizes and the rising COVID-19 numbers in the region increased risks for attendees. Effective immediately following that meeting, all Figure 8 races at the Audubon County Fairgrounds were canceled. The board says they regret the inconvenience and any hardships this decision may have caused, but the health, safety and well-being of their communities are their highest priorities.
