An investigation into a stolen vehicle was initiated on Sunday night in Jefferson. The Jefferson Police Department was notified at approximately 7:27 p.m. that a 2000 Chevrolet truck was missing from the 700 block of North Wilson Avenue. It was seen in the parked location about a half hour prior to the owner reporting it missing. There was also an estimated $1,000 of mechanics tools in the truck.
