The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office has released their findings following an investigation into an ATV accident east of Lanesboro last weekend that critically injured the driver. At approximately 8:02 p.m. on Saturday, July 19, 38-year-old Francis Adam Kennebeck of Lohrville was traveling northbound on Zephyr Avenue near the 120th Street intersection on a 2020 Honda Foreman ATV. Authorities say the four-wheeler made an abrupt left turn and rolled, ejecting Kennebeck. He was found on the ground near the east ditch when first responders arrived on scene. Kennebeck was initially transported to Stewart Memorial Community in Hospital Lake City by Carroll County Emergency Medical Services and later airlifted to a Des Moines hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
