A 20-year staple in Manning is in their final days of operation, but are offering special sales during adjusted hours into this weekend. The New Hope Bargain Shoppe was originally located on Main Street when it came to Manning, but was later moved to their current location at 813 4th St. According to New Hope Marketing and Retail Operations Director, Sarah Foley, they are disheartened to be closing this retail location, but a decline in sales drove that difficult decision. The final sales will be today (Wednesday) through Saturday with adult clothes and shoes priced at $1, children’s clothes at $0.50, books at $0.10 and 50 percent off all other items storewide. Their adjusted hours of operation can be found below. New Hope has bargain outlets in Carroll, Coon Rapids, Jefferson and Perry and they are hoping to re-open their Christmas Boutique in the Westgate Mall in Carroll again this fall. No other stores are slated for closure. All proceeds help support the programs and services New Hope offers to adults with disabilities.
