As the water distribution main replacement project continues in Carroll, Public Works Director, Randy Krauel, says they are working on the elimination of a dead-end water main on South Whitney Street.
This will require the construction to cross over private property. The city has received two types of easements to allow for this.
The temporary easement, which is for the duration of the construction project, extends 20 feet along the south side of the permanent easement.
The termination set out in the agreement is either 90 days after completion of construction or 18 months from the date of acceptance, whichever occurs first.
