The Carroll Public Works Department has announced that a section of Grant Road will be closed on Wednesday for work on a railroad crossing as part of the city’s 2020 resurfacing project. The closure, from 3rd Street to the Union Pacific Railroad tracks will begin at approximately 7 a.m. and is anticipated to last until about 5 p.m. Wednesday. Workers will be removing the current track approach and replacing it with hot mix asphalt. Anyone with questions can call the department at 792-1000.
