East Sac and South Central Calhoun At SE Valley Invite

Girls Results

The race was run on a hot and humid day with temperatures in the 90’s and wind not much of a factor on the course. The girls were split into two stages and run 10 minutes apart and results were determined on times only. South Central Calhoun had 10 girls compete and East Sac 6 girls run. The Titans finished in 6th place with 174 points and East Sac County was 9th with 221 points. Panorama won the event with 47 points and St Edmond took 2nd with 63. Both the Raiders and Titans ran in the 2nd stage.

Alayna Murley had a solid day for the Titans and finished 13th, just behind her was East Sac’s Emma Schroeder in 15th place. Alexia Nelson was the next highest runner for South Central Calhoun taking 30th place while Aimee Vaca of East Sac took home 37th place.

Boys Results

The race was run on a hot and humid day with temperatures in the 90’s and wind not much of a factor on the course. The boys were split into two stages and run 10 minutes apart and results were determined on times only. South Central Calhoun finished 7th with 215 points and East Sac was 11th with 292 points. Madrid was the overall champion with 52 points followed by AC-GC with 55, Ogden 61 and St Edmond 65. The Titans had 14 boys run while East Sac ran 9.

Nathan Pobanz finished the highest of the local runners taking 32nd place for East Sac. Ben Englin was the top runner for South Central Calhoun in 36th place.  Nathan Burley was 49th and Eli Wheelock was 51st for South Central Calhoun while Parker Engel was 55th for East Sac.
