Greene County authorities assisted the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office with a single-vehicle accident earlier this week. The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to 330th Street and A Avenue east of Coon Rapids, right on the Carroll County line at approximately 4:38 p.m. Wednesday. Fifty-one-year-old Randall Venteicher of Scranton was eastbound on 330th and attempted to turn onto A Avenue. He lost control of the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving and entered the north ditch, totaling the vehicle. Venteicher was arrested by a Carroll County deputy and charged with operating while under the influence.
