The 63rd annual Carroll Band Day will be “Marching Forward” on Saturday, Oct. 3, encouraging everyone to continue moving through the coronavirus pandemic. The parade will start at 10:30 a.m. on the corner of 9th and Adams Streets, travel south to 7th Street and east on that before turning north on Clark to 9th Street and east into Graham Park. Judging of the middle and high school marching bands will take place in the park and they will then march across Grant Road to the Carroll Athletic Field. The parade will also feature other local entries. Sponsors for this year’s event are Windstar Express and United Bank of Iowa as well as the Kuemper Catholic School System and Carroll Community School District.
