The state’s COVID-19 tracking website now lists Carroll County with FIVE confirmed deaths related to the coronavirus. As of 11 a.m. Tuesday morning, the county has the fifth highest two-week positivity rate at 18.9 percent and has reached a total of 497 positive cases with 224 recovered. The state is now reporting 70,723 positive cases with 50,386 recovered and 1,174 deaths. In the listening area: Crawford is at 11.8 percent with 869 positives, 731 recovered and three deaths; Guthrie is at 6.8 percent with 182 positives, 139 recovered and five deaths; Calhoun is reporting a 9.8 percent rate with 139 positives, 95 recovered and two deaths; Sac is at 6.2 percent with 126 positives and 88 recovered; Greene is at 8.7 percent with 67 positive cases, 42 of which are recovered; and Audubon is the lowest rate in the region at 3.5 percent with 41 positive cases, 28 recovered and one death.
