A Jefferson woman was arrested on Saturday after admitting to authorities she had been trying to pass a counterfeit bill. The Jefferson Police Department was called to the Wild Rose Casino and Resort at approximately 6:48 p.m. by employees after the customer attempted to present a $100 bill labeled as “Prop Money.” The investigation led to the arrest of 60-year-old Jill Elizabeth Zito on a class D felony charge of forgery.
