A new Small Business Development Center (SBDC) initiative will be kicking off in Manning early next week. The SBDC is partnering with Main Street Iowa to bring the Mobile Learning Lab to communities around the state, offering workshops and access to experts with a focus in three main areas: sales & marketing, accounting and operations. They will be at the Warren Timmerman Shelter House Monday, Sept. 14 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. with small business experts available to discuss e-commerce, QuickBooks, shipping, business operations and more. They will also be holding afternoon sessions by appointment only that will help walk business owners through the process of setting up an online sales site on Shop Iowa.
