Senator Ernst’s Regional Directors Will Hold Office Hours In The Region Beginning In Late September

Regional directors for U.S. Senator, Joni Ernst, will begin holding traveling office hours in all 99 counties in mid-September, continuing into early October. These representatives will be able to assist Iowans with casework issues including COVID-19 assistance, derecho recovery, Social Security and/or Medicare benefits, veterans’ benefits, military affairs, passports, immigration issues and questions or issues with other federal programs. Ernst says this assistance is one of her top priorities, particularly following the derecho and as the pandemic continues to dramatically impact residents throughout the state. “Traveling office hours are a great opportunity to meet with a member of my staff in a town near you about questions, problems or assistance you may need involving the federal government,” Ernst adds. Those who have an issue and are seeking help with a federal agency but are unable to attend one of the traveling office hours may contact one of the senator’s offices directory or submit a casework request online, details for both are included below. Regional directors will be in Crawford, Greene and Carroll County on Tuesday, Sept. 29. On Thursday, Oct 1, they will be in Audubon and Sac Counties. In Guthrie County on Tuesday, Oct. 6 and in Calhoun County on Thursday, Oct. 8. Details on the hours and locations of these events are also included here. Senator Ernst will NOT be in attendance.
