Senior Fun Day Is On For 2020, With A New Twist

The drive-thru event will be held at the Swan Lake Education Center parking lot from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sept. 16. Lawler says everyone is asked to remain in their cars and follow other COVID-19 safety protocols.

Co-organizer, Michelle Klocke with Regency Park, says they absolutely could not hold this event without honoring our veterans.

One of the features of the day allows seniors the opportunity to bring documents they don’t want to put into the trash for contactless shredding.

The seniors are asked to remain in their vehicles and the volunteers will remove the shredding for them. In an effort to keep traffic flowing smoothly, attendees are asked to enter the parking lot on the west side and exit on the east.
