Carroll County Treasurer, Lisa Wagner, is reminding residents that first-half property and mobile home taxes are due no later than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday Sept. 30. If these are mailed in, they must be postmarked by the same date to avoid delinquency penalties. There are several different methods that can be used for payment. These can be made at the Treasurer’s Office or online by debit or credit card; applicable service fees will apply. The option to pay by eCheck is also available online for a $0.25 fee. For no extra charge, payments can be deposited in the drop box located at the north side of the courthouse. To make an online payment, log on to www.iowatreasurers.org.
