JD Scholten And Local Candidates To Speak At Grand Opening Of Crawford County Democratic Headquarters Friday

Iowa’s 4th Congressional Democratic candidate, JD Scholten, will be the featured speaker this Friday, Sept. 18 at the grand opening of the Crawford County Democratic Headquarters. Scholten will be joined by other local candidates seeking office at the 5 p.m. event on the second floor of the UFCW hall at 46 North Main St. in Denison. Sheriff, Jim Steinkuehler, will lead attendees in the Pledge of Allegiance and this will be followed by speeches from Iowa House District 18 candidate, Damon Hopkins, and candidate for Iowa Senate District 6, CJ Petersen. Current Supervisor, Dave Muhlbauer, will then introduce Scholten, who will give a brief presentation and then take questions from the crowd. The Crawford County Democratic headquarters will be open through the end of the election cycle from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday with weekend hours subject to change. They will have candidate information, absentee ballot request forms and voter registration materials available at the office.
