The Lake View Public Library announced Tuesday morning they would be closing to the public until further notice due to the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in Sac County. The county’s 14-day rolling average had been around 10 patients since mid-May but saw a sharp spike starting Sept. 8. As of noon today (Tuesday), Sac stands at 221 total positives, 103 recovered and no deaths. While in-person services have been temporarily discontinued, staff will maintain access to materials through curbside pickups. To reserve items, contact the library at 712-657-2310.
