The Carroll Chamber of Commerce is hosting their annual Candidate Forum tonight (Wednesday) on the digital realm beginning promptly at 7 p.m. They will open with prepared statements from the uncontested county candidates: those running for Carroll County Supervisor seats, Richard Ruggles, Gene Meiners and Scott Johnson; Treasurer, Lisa Wagner; Sheriff, Ken Pingrey; and Auditor, Kourtney Irlbeck. They will then have the candidates for Iowa Senate District 6—Craig Williams and CJ Petersen—as well as District 12 Iowa House candidates—Brian Best, Sam Muhr and Blake Johannes, provide brief opening statements. Those candidates will then answer questions submitted to the Chamber prior to the forum. The event will be broadcast live on KIKD 106.7 FM and on local access cable channels.
