Kuemper nabbed their 4th win in a row and did it in impressive fashion dominating two of the three sets and working on different looks on the night to prepare for the post season. The win moves Kuemper to 14-7 overall and 4-2 in the Hawkeye 10 conference and keeps them in a tie with Lewis Central and a game back of Glenwood and Harlan and two games back of Red Oak. The 2nd set was tight but Kuemper was never in trouble during the match.
The Knights averaged 12.7 kills per set on 12.3 assists per set and had a .300 kill efficiency. The back row averaged 17.3 digs per set.
Ashlyn Badding finished with 31 assists and 8 digs while adding 2 blocks. Kenya Prescott had a team high 21 digs and was the only player in double digits. Frannie Glynn and Kenzie Schon each had 9 kills while Kamryn Venner added 8 kills. Sophie Badding had a team high 3 blocks. Schon also led the team with 4 aces.
The Knights host Atlantic on KKRL Thursday night.

Coon Rapids Bayard kept sole possession of first place in the Rolling Valley Conference with one of their best performances of the season. The win improves the Crusaders to 9-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference. The Crusaders averaged 11 kills and 11 assists per set and had a .264 kill efficiency. The back row has been solid all season and continued that with 16.7 digs per set. Five players combined for 33 kills.
Alaya Betts had her best match of the season with 10 kills to go with 3 aces. Alexa Culbertson continued her solid season with 10 kills. Chloe Parkis paced the back row with 17 digs while Brynn Bass added 10 digs to go with 6 kills. Cassidy Baker had 28 of the teams 33 assists to go with 9 digs.
Crusaders will host Glidden Ralston next Tuesday.

The Rockets played well taking the 1st set against a scrappy CAM Anita team that stays in the hunt for the Rolling Valley Conference crown. The loss drops Paton Churdan to 3-4 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
Paton Churdan had another solid night with the back row seeing a lot of action. Karissa Stephenson had a team high 21 digs with Danielle Hoyle with 18 digs and Tessa Steimel finishing with 14. Hoyle would add a team high 16 kills and 4 blocks. Steimel added 8 kills. Chloe Berns had 30 of the teams 32 assists to go with 8 digs. Carmyn Paup had 9 digs and a team high 2 aces.
The Rockets travel to Boyer Valley on Thursday.

Ar-We-Va dropped the first two sets on the road and then woke up according to a player before set 3 and rallied back for a nice 5 set win. The win improves the Rockets to 6-11 overall and 3-4 in the Rolling Valley Conference. The second set was a long hard fought set and helped the spark the Rockets who used some of the momentum from the set to get a lead in set 3. They cruised in set 4.
Ar-We-Va had three girls in or close to double digits in kills with Jadeyn Smith leading the way with 12 and Jamie Hausman having her best hitting match with 11. Kora Obrecht nearly was in double digits finishing with 9 kills. Bridget Cameron added 7 to a balanced attack. Sara Schurke did a nice job mixing things around to all her hitters and finished with 35 assists while garnering 6 kills. Hannah Kraus had a team high 11 digs while Maggie Ragaller added 9 digs. Smith had a team high 4 blocks.
Ar-We-Va hosts Boyer Valley next Tuesday.
