Harley-Davidson Of Carroll And Ike Auen Distributing Present Folds Of Honor Motorcycle To Denison Woman Thursday

Pictured: Giveaway winner, Paula Fried, takes a first look at her new, custom-made Folds of Honor Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

Harley-Davidson of Carroll, representatives from Ike Auen Distributing and members of the Breda and Carroll American Legions presented a Denison woman a new motorcycle this (Thursday) afternoon through their partnership with the Folds of Honor Foundation. The recipient, Paula Fried, comes from a military family. Her father is a veteran and her brother-in-law, Mike, spent 29 years serving in the armed forces. Her husband, Todd, says their family was struck by tragedy after a car accident this summer.

When Paula learned of the giveaway, she thought it was a longshot but decided to enter their names for a chance to win. According to her, she was not convinced they had won until Harley-Davidson of Carroll General Manager, Wade Adams, handed over the keys to the custom-made motorcycle Thursday.

The orange-and-black motorcycle is emblazoned with the Folds of Honor and Anheuser-Busch logos. Harley Davidson of Carroll also presented the Frieds with a custom guardian bell to recognize her family’s military service. Paula and Todd will take the bike out for their first official ride together around Crawford County tonight (Thursday).
