A Jefferson man has been arrested after Greene County authorities responded to the report of a suspicious individual. A Greene County Sheriff’s Office deputy made contact with 38-year-old Andrew Lee Jensen at approximately 7:02 a.m. near the Scranton school. It is alleged he was attempting to burglarize a vehicle and is facing charges of attempted burglary of a vehicle, fifth-degree theft, first-offense trespassing, interference with official acts and third- or subsequent-offense possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility.
