The final push is on before next Tuesday’s election and candidates are hitting Iowa’s highways to get in front of as many constituents as possible. U.S. Senate Democratic Candidate, Theresa Greenfield, will be bringing her “Jobs That Need To Get Done” tour to Carroll County later today. The small business tour will stop at 311 North Main Street in Carroll at 2 p.m., where she will discuss her plans for ending political corruption and giving a fair shot to farmers and other Iowans in getting through the COVID-19 pandemic and regrowing the economy. She will answer questions from attendees before moving on to a 4:30 p.m. meet-and-greet in Storm Lake. Greenfield’s “Jobs That Need To Get Done” tour is named in reference to her time working on the family farm, where her father taught her there are “no boy jobs or girl jobs, just jobs that need to get done.” She says that premise holds true for Washington as well and she will stress those points in the closing days of the campaign. All attendees are reminded that masks and social distancing will be required.
