One person reported suspected minor injuries in a two-vehicle accident north of Manning Monday. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office responded to the intersection of 260th Street and Birch Avenue at approximately 7:57 a.m. Forty-two-year-old Evan Donald Behrens of Coon Rapids was eastbound on 260th Street in a 2019 Chevrolet K2500 pickup. Seventeen-year-old Lily Ann Stangl of Manning was southbound on Birch Avenue in a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado K1500. The two trucks collided in the uncontrolled intersection, with the Behrens vehicle hit on the driver’s side. Behrens was uninjured but Stangl was transported to St. Anthony Regional Hospital by a family member. There was an estimated $8,000 in damage to the Stangl truck and $15,000 in damage to the Behrens vehicle. Stangl was cited for failure to yield to a vehicle on the right.
