Carroll Broadcasting is awaiting confirmation on a citizen report of a large number of layoffs at the local American Home Shield office. Vice-President of Field Operations, David Quandt, did not confirm or deny that there have been layoffs, but said the corporate media communications department would be reaching out to us with a statement. He did say that the Carroll office has not been closed, but that employees are working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic and there are only a limited number of maintenance people in the building at this time. We will bring you updates as soon as more information becomes available. Just a little over two years ago, in October of 2018, American Home Shield left parent company, Servicemaster, and was acquired by Frontdoor, Inc.
