Manning Florist Participates In Caring Rose Week

From Nov. 9 through Nov. 14, a donation of two canned food items and $10 will get you a dozen roses. Kristina’s Flowers in Manning is participating in the 22nd annual Caring Rose Week initiative to help feed the hungry this holiday season. This year, more than ever, food pantries across the country are in need of donations to help keep up with the COVID-19-related increase in demand. Caring Rose Week was started in 1998 by Harry Whelden, then General Manager of North American Wholesale Florist of Sioux Falls, S.D. Whelden had taken an interest in National Hunger and Homeless and National Student Campaign Against Hunger and Homelessness initiatives that takes place each year a week ahead of Thanksgiving.  Stop in at 306 Main Street in Manning for more details.
