$100,000 Powerball Prize From 2019 Expires Next Week

Iowa Lottery officials are continuing their search for an individual who won a $100,000 prize nearly a year ago before it expires next week. The Powerball ticket was purchased at the QuikTrip on Fleur Drive just north of Des Moines International Airport on Nov. 27, 2019 and matched four white balls and the Powerball with a PowerPlay option. The winner has until 4 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30 to claim their prize money at one of the Iowa Lottery’s offices. However, these offices will be closed Wednesday through Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. If not claimed by Monday, the money will be returned to the lottery’s prize pools to be used for future games and promotions. Players are encouraged to look through their old tickets to check if they may have won without knowing. The numbers from the Nov. 27 drawing were: 15, 26, 37, 53, and 55 with Powerball 21. If the winner has any questions before claiming their prize, they can contact the Iowa Lottery at 515-725-7900.
