Carroll Community School District Superintendent, Dr. Casey Berlau, is warning people this (Monday) morning about some misleading solicitations happening in our area. He says the company Sports Media Advertising has been contacting Carroll businesses, seeking advertising dollars in sponsorship of local high schools. Berlau stresses this company is NOT affiliated with the Carroll Community School District and there are no agreements that give this entity permission to sell products or solicit advertising on their behalf. No portion of any money paid out to Sports Media Advertising will return to the district. Anyone with questions can contact the district office at 792-8001 or local law enforcement at 792-3536.
