Carroll County Public Health is reminding area residents that St. Anthony Regional Hospital and Clinic continues to operate Test Iowa sites in Carroll and Denison. These COVID-19 tests are free of charge, but an online assessment must be completed first at www.testiowa.com and then patients will be directed to call 794-5835 to make an appointment. Testing is also still available through St. Anthony Regional Hospital, Manning Regional Healthcare Center and McFarland Clinic by contacting your healthcare provider. St. Anthony is currently participating in the HRSA COVID-19 Uninsured Program. Healthcare providers who participate are able to submit for payment COVID-19-related testing and/or treatment services for patients who are uninsured. Patients may be eligible for as long as funding remains available. More information can be found through the link included below. Public Health officials are also reporting that many private insurance companies are required to waive cost-sharing for COVID-19 testing. Some insurance companies are even waiving cost-sharing for COVID treatments. Patients are encouraged to check with their insurance carrier for more details.
