Officers with the Carroll Police Department responded to two accident scenes on Wednesday. The first occurred at 1:37 p.m. in the 1100 block of N. Main Street. Eighty-seven-year-old Joan Jones of Carroll was northbound on Main in a 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis when she struck a parked minivan. Functional damage was reported on both vehicles and Jones was cited for striking an unattended vehicle. The second incident was reported at approximately 4:05 p.m. in the 700 block of E.
