There were no injuries reported but an estimated total of $5,000 in damages from a two-vehicle accident in Guthrie Center Monday morning. The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene at the intersection of 9th and Main Streets at approximately 7:46 a.m. Thirty-four-year-old Ashlee Gayle Marie Wolfe of Guthrie Center was northbound on 9th Street in a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica and stopped at the posted sign at the intersection. Twenty-eight-year-old Erica Marie Cleveland, also of Guthrie Center, was traveling westbound on Main Street in a 2019 Dodge Journey. Wolfe failed to yield to the Cleveland vehicle and struck it in the front driver side, causing an estimated $3,500 in damage to the Journey. There was a reported $1,500 in damage to the Chrysler and Wolfe was cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign.
