Residents in the Rolling Hills area of Carroll are unexpectedly without power. Initial reports from MidAmerican Energy Company show more than 10 homes were suddenly disconnected shortly after 3:30 p.m. Thursday. MidAmerican Energy is aware of the issue, and crews have been dispatched. Power is expected to be restored no later than 7:45 p.m. this evening. It is not clear at this time what caused the sudden disconnections, but the company is investigating the source of the problem.
