Dianne E. Beyerink, age 73, of Coon Rapids, IA, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:30 P.M. on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Annunciation Catholic Church in Coon Rapids with Fr. Steven Brodersen as Celebrant assisted by Deacon Louis Meiners. Music for the Mass will be by Brent Peterson and Diane Slater. Lector for the Mass will be Robyn Eddy. Casket bearers will be Zachary Hyland, Ben Hyland, Nick Hyland, Pat Hyland, Chris Eddy, and Chris Mohr. Honorary casket bearers will be Dr. Cassie Martinson, Anna Kopaska, Mary Ticknor, and Sam Halverson. Burial will be at Highland Township Cemetery south of Bayard.
Visitation will be held at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Coon Rapids from 5 – 7 P.M. on Friday, December 18, 2020 where there will be a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. The casket will be moved to the church at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until 1:45 P.M.
Those in attendance at Dianne’s services are asked to abide by Covid-19 guidelines and facemasks are required at the funeral home and the church.
Dianne was born on September 11, 1947 in San Bernardino, CA, and she was the daughter of Earl and Valeria (Kauffman) Eddy. Her family moved to Bayard, IA, when her father was honorably discharged from the Army Air Corps. Dianne graduated from Bayard High School in 1965 and then attended University of Northern, IA, graduating with a Bachelor degree in Music. Dianne taught in the Council Bluffs school systems for several years before moving to Coon Rapids in 1972. She stayed at home with her children, did substitute teaching, and taught music at the Bayard Community School until she began her teaching career at Kuemper Catholic High School in 1979 retiring in 1990. Dianne then began a new career with E.T. Video as Director of Marketing where she worked for 22 years. Dianne was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in Coon Rapids where she served on the Parish Council for several years and assisted as organist. Dianne was active was active with Eastern Star and Rainbow while growing up. She enjoyed reading, exercising, Yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Dianne is survived by her children and their families: daughter Angela Clouser (Mark) of Waukee, IA; son Bryan Beyerink (Deanna) of Bayard, IA; two grandchildren: Grace and Emily Clouser; two step-grandchildren: April Coppock (Spenser) and Danny Irlbeck; four step-great-grandchildren: Kaden, Alexa, Bella, and Murphy; a brother Dennis Eddy (Sherry) of rural Bayard, IA; two nieces: Laurie Hyland (Pat) of Vinton, IA, and Karen Mohr (Chris) of Coon Rapids and one nephew Chris Eddy (Robyn) of Bayard.
Dianne was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Valeria Eddy.
