More funding requests and a recommendation from the Carroll County Compensation Board are on Monday’s agenda for the Carroll County Board of Supervisors. The 9 a.m. meeting features annual budget discussions and funding requests from the Carroll Area Child Care Center, New Opportunities, the Manning Child Care Center and the Carroll County Historical Society. The Supervisors will also discus employee retirements/resignations and review a recommendation from the compensation board for a six percent annual salary increase for the Carroll County Sheriff and four percent for all other elected officials. In their ongoing efforts to adhere to COVID-19 mitigation methods, the meeting will be livestreamed on the county’s YouTube channel, a link to which is included below. Those wishing to submit comments or questions on agenda items prior to Monday’s meeting can do so by emailing supervisors@carrollcountyiowa.org. To ask questions or make comments during the meeting, the participant must first create a YouTube channel and then subscribe to the county’s.
