U.S. Senator, Chuck Grassley, says there is no doubt that 2020 was a difficult year.
This annual tradition, Grassley says, keeps him in touch with the grassroots in Iowa and enables him to bring their concerns to policy makers in Washington, D.C. He highlights some of the “twists and turns” that have impacted his home state over the past year and that have made his annual 99-county meetings more beneficial than ever.
One thing he knows for sure, is that Iowans are very resilient people and he is looking forward to continuing his long-held tradition of the 99-county question and answer sessions in the new year.
