First Responders Called To Vehicle Fire In Grand Junction Saturday

The Grand Junction Fire Department and Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a vehicle fire in Grand Junction Saturday afternoon. The call came in at approximately 12:07 p.m. about a 1994 Toyota Camry that was on fire at Elizabeth and 15th Streets. Although the cause is as of yet unknown, the Camry suffered smoke and fire damage estimated at around $500. The registered owner, 56-year-old Charles Kaufaman of Perry, was cited for failure to provide proof of financial liability and driving on a suspended license.
