Glidden American Legion Annual Pancake Feed Scheduled For Sunday

The Glidden American Legion will be hosting their annual pancake fundraiser this weekend. Due to COVID-19 concerns, meals are being offered as drive-through only for the Sunday, Jan. 17 event. From 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., supporters can pick up their pancakes, scrambled eggs and sausage from the American Legion Building on Idaho Street for a free will donation. Individuals are asked to stay in their vehicle while collecting their meals. People should approach from the east on First Street and place their order on the south side of the building. Food will then be picked up on the west side of the building on Idaho Street. As of Friday afternoon, the forecast does not call for inclement weather, but in the event weather takes a turn for the worse, Jan. 24 has been set as the snow date. Money raised from the pancake feed is used to support the Glidden American Legion’s operation and programs throughout the year.
